September Fall fishing is in full swing in the B.L.A!! Water temps are dropping as the temperatures are falling and the fish are biting! With about a month left of our open water season, now is the time to book that Fall Fishing trip.
WALLEYES– Pelican, Whitefish and Gull are all kicking out walleyes in 20-35 feet on live bait rigs with chubs and crawlers.
BASS– The bass fishing is very good as the fish transition to Fall, Spinner-baits and crank baits are kicking out fish on the bigger weed flats in 8-16 feet in Pelican, Gull, and North Long.
NORTHERN – Pike are active on Edwards, Gull, and South Long on Bigger suckers minnows and jigs or spoons in 20-32 feet.
CRAPPIES – Lower Cullen, Hubert and Cross lake are producing nice crappies on small jigs tipped with crappie minnows in 10-16 feet over the tops of the weeds.
Its a great time to be on the water, the leaves are changing and the fish are biting!
