Summer  is officially here in the BLA, temps on all our lakes are heating up and the fishing continues to be very good for all species! Walleyes are still mostly in their early summer locations – 12-22 feet, slip bobbers and leeches or Lindy rigs with leeches or chubs are turning the eyes – Pelican – Whitefish – and Gull are all good choices! NORTHERNS and Bass are very active biting on plastics, night crawlers and spinner baits along the edge of the deeper cabbage beds – Hubert – North long – and Gull have all been good! Panfishing remains strong, they have dropped a little deeper now that the spawn is done but the 8-12 foot weed edges with a small jig tipped with either a crappie minnow or wax worm – Roy – Upper Gull- and North Long have all been good!
