With the 2022 Fishing Opener just days away, things are shaping up for it
to be an awesome opener! With the super cold April, many of the lakes in
the Brainerd Lakes Area were not thawing, and there was concern that we
could have ice still here in the middle of May. But, all the lakes in our
area are now ice free and with the warm temps we have this week, it should
