Jim Minerich |
Jim was born and raised in Chishom, MN. He moved to the Brainerd Lakes area in 1972 to start teaching elementary school and has been a part of the Nisswa Guides League since 1978. He has fished the camp confidence tournament for 11 years and has many more years filled with great memories from fishing trips and he has created many good friends out of customers that he has guided. Jim grew up fishing in Northern Minnesota. When he was really little his dad would tie him up to the wall of the spear house, so he wouldn't fall in the hole. He has grown to love fishing lake trout and bass. Down-rigging trout is his passion and he also likes jig worming with light line. Jim is married and has two grown kids. His lovely wife, Sara, is his fishing partner and shares his Canadian cabin with him. Jim gets his most joy out of fishing when he is in the company of those who truly enjoy catching fish.
Jim is on many pro staffs. He Represents Ranger, Berkley, Northland Tackle to mention a few. |
