which was a couple of miles from their family farm. They did a
lot of bullhead fishing to start out and then realized that carp
were more fun to catch because of their size. Glen has been married
to his wife, Marilu with 3 kids Kate, Elisabeth and Nick.
Glen’s favorite fishing story that he loves
to retell
“I was on a guide trip in my boat watching a guy, fighting
what I think is a giant walleye, he would gain on the fish then
the drag would go out. I’m standing next to him with the
net and when he gets it close to the boat it was a cannon down
rigger. He was slightly embarrassed.”
Walleye fishing is Glen’s favorite with using
live-bait rigs and jigs. He enjoys taking families and relatives
out fishing. Especially fishing with his best friend, Leighton.
Glen likes fishing the first two hours of daylight usually during
the Spring and Fall the best.
Glen has been guiding for more than 30 years. He has guided over
4000 trips. He has fished the Camp Confidence Tourney with one
first place finish and other second and third place finishes.
