Chad Rau was raised on the shores of upper Mission Lake. His parents have owned Sunset Bay Resort for the past 25 years in the Brainerd area. Chad received a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Chad has been guiding for the past 9 years and is the newest member to the Nisswa Guide League. Besides guiding Chad is also Director of Operations for Lindy Little Joe.
Chad will fish all species and enjoys open water fishing better than ice fishing. His favorite type of fishing is rigging for walleyes and flippin for bass. Chad and his wife, Jody, like to fish together and spend time with their dog, Gus.
